After growing up in rural South Australia and attending school in Hamilton, Victoria, Nikki went on to complete her Master of Dentistry at La Trobe University. Her strong connection to regional communities inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry that values care, trust, and long-term relationships with patients.

Upon graduating, Nikki joined the Barwon Heads Dental family and now works across both Barwon Heads Family Dental and Queenscliff Family Dental. She is known for her friendly nature, attention to detail, and genuine dedication to helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental care.

Nikki enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular passion for conservative treatment options and promoting “prevention rather than cure.” She believes that helping patients feel at ease and building rapport are essential steps in achieving great oral health.

Outside of work, Nikki’s love of the outdoors keeps her active. You might spot her running, hiking, playing netball, or stand-up paddle boarding along the coast, making the most of everything the Bellarine has to offer.

Recently, Nikki welcomed a beautiful Newfoundland dog named Bronte into her life. You may see the pair out walking together — Bronte’s size and gentle nature tend to attract plenty of smiles and pats along the way.

Having gained a Bachelor of Health Science in Dentistry and a Master of Dentistry from La Trobe University, Maddy began her career in regional Victoria before moving to Melbourne. Originally from Bendigo, she relocated to the coast in January 2020 to enjoy the relaxed lifestyle and the beauty of living by the water.

Maddy enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is passionate about building trust with her patients. She listens carefully to their concerns and tailors treatment plans to meet each individual’s needs, ensuring every patient has a positive and empowering experience.

Throughout her career, Maddy has gained experience across a wide range of dental treatments and stays up to date with the latest techniques, always striving for the best outcomes for her patients.

Outside of work, Maddy enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. She is also an avid traveler, always excited to explore new cultures and destinations.

Excitingly, Maddy is looking forward to getting married at the end of 2025. With her warm personality, dedication to her patients, and zest for life, she continues to make a positive impact both in and out of the dental clinic.

Dr Jack Milgate is an accomplished dentist originally from Echuca-Moama in country Victoria, who has fulfilled a long-held dream by establishing his own clinics in places he truly loves. He opened Barwon Heads Dental in 2020 and expanded with Queenscliff Family Dental in 2025, continuing his commitment to providing exceptional dental care to local communities.

With a passion for modern, digital and minimally invasive dentistry, Jack believes no two treatments or patients are the same. He prides himself on offering tailored, common-sense options combined with exceptional communication to achieve ideal results for every patient.

​

As one of Australia’s leading general Invisalign® providers, Jack lectures extensively as a Clinical Speaker for Invisalign®, sharing his expertise with practitioners both nationally and internationally on how to create the perfect smile. He is a recognised expert in intra-oral scanning techniques and procedures and has contributed case studies and professional advice to dentists and companies around the world.

Jack was also involved with 3DGuard, a cutting-edge digital mouthguard company that provides innovative technology to AFL and NRL teams as well as international UFC competitors.

​

Outside of dentistry, Jack enjoys the occasional golf, a hit of tennis, and tinkering with old cars and motorcycles. He’s happily married to Phoebe Sinnett, with whom he tied the knot in February 2020, and they welcomed their daughter, Eleanor, in December 2022.

Marty is a highly experienced Oral Health Therapist with a strong focus on preventive care, oral hygiene, and helping patients achieve long-term oral health. He is known for his thorough approach and passion for educating patients on how to care for their teeth and gums.

Marty provides ongoing hygiene and maintenance treatment, ensuring every patient receives high-quality care and personalised advice to support a healthy smile.

​

Throughout his career, he has worked alongside specialist Orthodontists, Periodontists, Prosthodontists, and General Dentists across Australia and overseas. While living in London, Marty worked in a specialist Invisalign clinic, gaining valuable experience in orthodontic care and the importance of maintaining excellent oral hygiene throughout treatment.

Outside of dentistry, Marty previously lived on the Gold Coast, where he completed his Bronze Medallion and developed a passion for surf lifesaving. In 2025, he also celebrated becoming engaged to his partner, Kate.

Marty is excited to be joining Queenscliff Family Dental, bringing his expertise, warmth, and commitment to exceptional patient care to our local community.

Madara joined Barwon Heads Dental and Queenscliff Family Dental in 2026 as an Oral Health Therapist. Originally from Latvia, she began her dental career in Australia as a dental assistant before completing her Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy.

Madara is passionate about providing gentle, patient-centred care and enjoys helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through education and prevention. She has a strong interest in orthodontics, restorative dentistry, and the early detection and prevention of head and neck cancer. Committed to ongoing professional development, Madara continually expands her knowledge to provide the highest standard of care.
